I don’t know what came over me today…

With apologies to Leonard Cohen

I remember him well,
In the Chandler Hotel,
He was bleeding from all his orifices.
Gael told me again,
His life was at an end,
But I wouldn’t give him any goodbye kisses.

That was the virus,
That was LA,
We were trying to contain a huge mess.
That was our task for those at CTU,
There’s more work for those who are left.
But Suanders got away,
Oh yeah, didn’t he babe?
He just took Michelle and he ran.
He got away,
And never once did I hear Michelle say,
Rescue me. No, don’t rescue me,
And all of that flailing around.

The president told me to kill,
Mr. Ryan Chapelle,
The order caused me much inner friction.
The day had been hard,
I still flew to the yard,
Even though I had a heroin addiction.
And weeping in my SUV,
For the ones like me,
Who are oppressed by the weight of our duties.
My cell phone rang, and I thought “Back to work,
I am sad but I still have my cohonies.”

I don’t mean to protest,
But this day wasn’t the best,
Yet my opinion of Jack, if will soften.

It was complete hell,
At the Chandler Hotel,
We try not to think of it that often.

Heh. This rocked.

I can hear it with the voices from 24: The Opera.

The Opera was great. Jack didn't soung that much like Kiefer, but who does? I hope they do a sequel:

"I'll tell you where the plotunion is! Just stop singing!"

Thanks for reasing.
